Barni Candle-Lavender Fragrance

Eco-friendly soy wax candle in handmade ceramic barni (jar). Each candle is carefully hand-poured in small batches to ensure a consistent and quality product, and lead free cotton wicks are used for a clean burn.

The white brown ceramic jar with lid is commonly known as 'martbaan' in Hindi and  widely used in Indian households to preserve pickles. Traditionally, the pickle jars are much larger in size but here our artisan has used smaller ones and turned them into barnis for the wax, full of lovely scents and that old world charm!

These beautiful barnis are sustainable too as they can be reused to keep dry whole spices in the kitchen or to store trinkets.
